Climate change: Together we can make a difference
Join our mission to help revert climate change
Climate change is a critical issue facing us all. The enormity of the situation can seem overwhelming at times but at Reach Solutions we strongly believe a collective effort of small steps can help to turn the tide.
So for the first time ever our network of trusted digital and print brands are working as one to encourage our loyal audience to #Do1Thing that makes a difference.
#Do1Thing launches on January 22nd, 2020
The campaign will receive exceptional coverage across the UK and will be embraced by 22 of our daily newspapers including the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo, Birmingham Mail and Leicester Mercury, plus 35 of our regional websites including CornwallLive, BristolLive, MyLondon and WalesOnline.
On launch day #Do1Thing will takeover our titles with local stories unique to each location, interactive widgets, and five pages of expert advice and practical tips to inspire readers to take positive action. And that’s not all:
Dedicated content and brand engagement
In addition to the bespoke content written by our award-winning journalists, our newspapers will be changing their mastheads to incorporate the #Do1Thing logo, highlighting the campaign and its importance at every opportunity. On the day our websites and social accounts will also feature takeover visuals highlighting #Do1Thing to ensure maximum awareness.
Our audience will be invited to register to receive a regular #Do1Thing email newsletter, highlighting the latest news and information from across our portfolio, and further promoting our ongoing business-wide commitment to the climate cause. We have a unique and trusted position in the hearts of millions of users and we will use this campaign to make a commitment of our own to the climate cause.
We are giving our audience the opportunity to win a brand new MG ZS EV Exclusive electric car, worth over £30,000. The winner even gets to pick the colour! The competition will appear in all of our regional daily titles and readers will need to collect six passwords to enter, with the first password appearing in papers on launch day on Wednesday January 22nd.
