Reach have had a historical partnership with Plymouth City Council and its Business Improvement District. However their marketing had to have a completely different strategy this year. Plymouth City Centre took a big hit on footfall and spending decreased due to the recent negative impact on high streets as a result of the pandemic. Their main goals were to increase footfall, spend and interest into Plymouth City Centre to pre-Covid levels.
Partnering with the commercial editorial team here at Reach, we were able to create a digital awareness campaign targeting Plymouth and the surrounding areas, and those interesting in visiting Plymouth. The campaign proposal included the following media solutions: content marketing, social media advertising, paid search advertising, InYourArea, and digital display advertising.
Thanks to a range of powerful marketing solutions, the campaign succeeded in raising the profile of Plymouth City Centre. With the challenges faced in the city over the last couple of years, the client was pleased to see such a positive change in the city due to the campaign.
