Industry audience data shows that we reach 83% of Manchester every month though the Manchester Evening News, online and in-print, and our other titles in the region including the Manchester Weekly News, which relaunches next month.
Publication of the weekly, which reaches 185,000 Mancunians every month, was paused during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. But all four local editions – Salford, Tameside, Trafford, and Stockport & Wilmslow – will be available again from Thursday September 10th, bigger and better than ever before.
These unrivalled figures are another significant achievement for Reach’s Manchester newsbrands. In November 2019 the MEN celebrated becoming the first-ever regional news site in the UK to reach the 1 billion page views in a single year.
The site – named ‘Website of the Year’ at the Regional Press Awards for two years running – regularly generated more than 3 million views a day last year.
